New Site: Details & Notes On Features

Firstly, a huge thank you to Blake and Denny of Kinky Sites for helping us finally realise our vision for what Northern Spanking should be; bright, inclusive, user-friendly and a worthy platform to present the unique brand of spanking films and imagery we have been producing for nearly 20 years. Its taken a lot of effort and many failed attempts to get where we are now and we really hope you like the new site as much as we do!
Even though we have thoroughly tested our new site, given its bespoke nature and functionality there are almost certain to be one or two glitches lurking waiting to be discovered. If you spot something that doesn't seem to work as it should, PLEASE LET US KNOW!
The latest page of Updates is a little mis-ordered due to our adding in Scenes that were missing. This will sort itself out at new Updates get added.
Here are some notes to assist both Members and prospective Members with how the new site works:
SIGNUP PROCESS
Starting at the beginning! When you decide to join and become a Member, you will notice that the User/Password selection requirements are rather rigid. This is essential to protect our content, which costs a great deal to produce and bring to you, from those who would attempt to steal it by signing up fraudulently. We have included a handy pop-up guide and red/green boxes to help.
Completing the process, once you have paid the subscription via CCBill, is a "Confirmation Email" containing a link you need to click to activate your membership. If you don't receive the email, please check your Junk/Trash folders, especially if you use Gmail, GMX, Googlemail or AOL. If you still can't find it, simply CONTACT US from the email address you used to sign up and we'll get you activated as soon as possible.
FILM FORMATS
Two firsts here. In addition to .mp4 format, our film are now available in .wmv format and, for full-length films, in 1080HD for magnificent, full-screen quality.
STREAMING
Both previews and full films will now stream, although we recommend downloading for the best experience, particularly with 1080HD films which are large files. As well as a new site, we have a new server with much faster processors. However, streaming quality is very much dependent on the speed and capacity of the user's connection. NOTE: Due to HTML5 compatibility issues, streaming is not available in Safari or IE8. More recent versions of IE work fine and hopefully the compatibility issue will be resolved in a future Safari release.
“MY FAVOURITES”
By clicking on 'Add To My Favourites' on Scenes you particularly enjoy, an online gallery entirely personal to you is created. Each time you sign in thereafter, the option to access your online gallery via “My Favourites” is immediately presented to you. Your gallery is preserved as long as you remain a continuous Member.
“RECENTLY VISITED”
Each time you sign in, you are immediately presented with the option to revisit the Scenes you previously enjoyed on your last visit. Your recently visited list is maintained as long as you remain a continuous Member.
So you have three ways to dive into our films and images as soon as you sign in: UPDATES takes you to the latest Scenes; MY FAVOURITES takes you to your personal online gallery; RECENTLY VIEWED takes you to the Scenes you most recently enjoyed. Or use our two search options to find something that particularly appeals to you!
SEARCH
Yes, really, you can now search Northern Spanking! In two ways in fact! The regular free-format Search box operates as you would expect. Then there's KEYWORD SEARCH which takes you to an extensive list of tags with which we've spent an unbelievably huge amount of time indexing every Scene, so that you can find just what you're looking for. The tags are divided into four categories: Performer (who's in it), Genre (type of Scene), Clothing (what the spankee is wearing) and Detail (for the more unusual features in a Scene).
DOWNLOADING
As another essential content-protection measure, downloads are restricted to a maximum of five simultaneous connections, meaning that download accelerators will not work with our site.
